Welcome to Malta. Thank you for choosing to stay at the Tropicana Hotel. You can be assured that our team will do everything they can to ensure that your time with us is both comfortable and satisfying.

The Tropicana Hotel offers the following outlets.

Estilo Bar and Restaurant- Located on the ground floor of the hotel premises.

Open 24/7 and fully air-conditioned. Offering a whole range of delicious meals from traditional Maltese through to an extensive range of Sushi. All meal packages accompanying your stay will be served in the Estilo.

Funland- Located on the lower floor or the premises, funland offer Malta’s most exciting and well-equipped indoor play area for children. Open from 12 to 10pm daily. Funland hosts a large play area, as well as a variety of arcade attractions, plus 5D cinema, Also including on upper level a toyshop.

Metro Beverages-Open 24/7

"Metro Beverages" & "All for you" , are our two general retail stores, open 24/7, they are both cash and carry in which they stock a wide range of drinks, food and traveller essentials at very competitive prices.

Board Options and Meal Times:

All room is provided on a bed and breakfast basis. Guest can select to upgrade their stay to that of half board or full board. The following charges will apply for board upgrades:

Half board-

· 10.00 euro per person per day

Full board-

· 17.00 euro per person per day

Prices are subject to change. Please check with reception staff upon arrival.

Guest must collect a meal voucher from reception before entering the restaurant.

Breakfast- A buffet continental breakfast is available for guest n the Estilo restaurant daily between 7am-11pm

Lunch- A variety of foods can be chosen from the Estilo Menu and is served between 12-3pm

Dinner- Dinner for guest selecting the half board option is made available in the Estilo Restaurant every evening between 7pm-9pm

Air conditioning

All guest rooms are air-conditioned. Guest are requested to pay a 10,00 euro deposit for the air conditioning remote control when checking into the hotel. [One deposit is payable to cover the use of all room remotes] The deposit will be returned upon safe return of undamaged remotes upon check out.


Please report all breakages to reception as soon as possible. Charges to guest may apply dependent on the extent/cause of the damage.


Cots can be placed in guest rooms at no additional charge. Please ask reception where a member of staff will be happy to help. Subject to Availabilities.


All guest are required to check our hotel room by 11.30am on the day of departure. A luggage room is available for guest to store their luggage until 7pm.

Please note: charges may apply if the room is not vacated by 11.30am.


Electricity used in Malta is 240V. Any one requiring to purchase any adaptors we supply them in our 24/7 outlets available on the premises.

Hairdryer: The hotel is able to provide guest with the use of a hairdryer. Please ask reception a deposit fee is required. Subject to availability.

Internet: Free Wifi is provided in guest rooms check for Login and password in the booklet provided on the desk of your room. One can also log on the Wifi in the foyer of the hotel, courtyard and in the Estilo restaurant, for login ask at reception desk.

Irons: The hotel is able to provide guest with an iron. Please ask the receptionist. Subject to availability.

Maid Service: Guest rooms are cleaned daily with the provision of clean towels and the making of beds. Bed linen is changed every 3 days.

Reception: The hotel reception is staffed 24/7 and check in is valid from 2pm onwards. Our friendly and multilingual staff are happy to help with any enquiries. To contact reception from your room please dial 21 from the room telephone.

Room Key: Key cards or keys are provided to guest. Guest are kindly requested to leave the room key/card at reception when they leave the premises. A charge of 10.00 euro will be charged for any loss of room keys.

Safe: A safe is available for guest to use to place small items only at reception desk. Please contact the reception for more details. A daily fee is applicable.

Taxis: The staff in reception will be happy to arrange a reservation for you. Please contact the receptionist for details.

Television: Cable television is provided in all guest rooms. Guest are requested to pay a 10.00 euro deposit for the remote control when checking in to the hotel [one deposit is payable to cover the use of all room remotes] The deposit will be returned upon the safe return of the undamaged remotes upon check out.

Tours: A variety of tours and excursions are available for guest to book at reception. Please see a member of staff for details.

Wake up call: Wake up calls are provided free of charge. To set a wake up call please dial782 from the telephone in the room followed by dialing in the time you require the call to be made.. For example to set a wake up call for 6 am please dial 7820600.

Extra guests : if any one need to take up a friend that is to be considered a Guest which need to identify this person at reception desk valid documentation is required and charges apply

No one is allowed to check in without providing us with valid documentation such as Passport or I.D card, management has the rights to refuse your entry and shall not refund any payments already made.

No Pets are allowed in the Hotel.
